No more hematomas!
When Roxy was 2-3 years old she started shaking her head and scratching her ears a lot. I kept trying new dog food brands but the problem continued. One night she shook her head so much that she gave herself a hematoma on her ear. She had to have surgery and the vet told me that once a dog gets a hematoma, they likely will continue to get more in the future. I decided to start cooking food for her and it’s been 6-7 years now and no more hematomas.

Colorado has so many beautiful hikes that are dog friendly. I’d love to share some of our favorites as we explore.
