My friend Anne used to live in Granby, CO. Roxy and I went to visit Anne, and we took her dogs, Keeva and Louise, and Roxy to the Monarch Lake Loop Trail.
This trail is about 4 miles and makes a loop. It loops around a lake, providing pretty views of the lake throughout the hike. It can be a popular trail in the summer, with a pretty full parking lot but it’s big enough to spread out on the hike. Plenty of places to stop for a break and take in a view.
